Boston Area Gleaners connects farms to families. 1 in 10 people in Massachusetts lives with food insecurity. We harvest delicious, fresh food before it can go to waste. Mobilizes individuals, businesses, civic, educational and faith-based groups to offer home prepared food to vulnerable neighbors seeking assistance from human service agencies, students working to improve their lives in after school programs and families struggling with food insecurity. 900 volunteers from 61 Boston-area cities and towns. Supporting 44 direct-service partner agencies. Prepare and deliver meals that serve more than 4,600 people every month. COOKING CLASSES STARTING MARCH 26th! .
